Meet our founders

Lauren Severin
Lead Therapeutic Counsellor & Co-founder of Ease Your Mind Ltd
As a qualified therapist and co-founder of Ease Your Mind, my approach is built on the belief that therapy should feel like a safe, grounding space—where you can come exactly as you are, without pressure to be anything else.
At the heart of my work is a person-centred philosophy. That means I don’t come in with assumptions or fixed agendas. I meet you where you are, with curiosity, respect, and a genuine interest in understanding you. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you, at your pace, in a space where nothing is off-limits and everything is welcomed—thoughts, emotions, questions, doubts, and all.
Clients often describe me as warm, calm, and intuitive—but also honest and gently challenging when it supports growth. I won’t just nod along; I’ll be present, engaged, and alongside you as we make sense of things together. I believe real change happens through connection—not only with your therapist, but with yourself—and it’s my role to help guide that process in a way that feels empowering and human.
While my foundation is rooted in relational and person-centred approaches, I also draw from other therapeutic tools when it feels right, including elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Some people benefit from more structured techniques, while others need space to reflect and feel heard—and many need a bit of both. Every person is different, and I work flexibly to honour that.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed by anxiety, working through past experiences, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, I'm here to support you with warmth, honesty, and care. Therapy is not about fixing you—because you're not broken. It's about reconnecting with your own voice, your values, and the part of you that’s ready to move forward, one step at a time.

Bradley David
Co-founder of Ease Your Mind Ltd, Trainee Therapist & Mental Health Advocate
As co-founder of Ease Your Mind and a long-standing educational leader, I’ve spent much of my professional life supporting young people, families, and staff through both academic and emotional challenges. In my current role as a head teacher, I’ve seen first-hand how deeply mental health impacts every area of life - from learning and relationships to confidence and overall wellbeing.
My journey into therapy has grown from this experience, and from a long-held desire to support people beyond the classroom. I’m now training to become a qualified therapist, building on my experience in education with a deeper understanding of emotional health and personal growth. For me, this is about giving back—contributing meaningfully to the wellbeing of individuals and the wider community, especially in a world where mental health support is needed more than ever.
At Ease Your Mind, I work closely behind the scenes to help shape the direction and values of our practice, supporting both the business and therapeutic vision of what we do. While I’m not yet seeing clients, I bring with me a strong foundation in leadership, a commitment to lifelong learning, and a sincere passion for helping others feel safe, seen, and supported.
This journey into therapy isn’t just a new career path—it’s a calling. One that’s rooted in empathy, purpose, and a belief that everyone deserves a space to grow, heal, and be met with understanding.
